Novelist Tobias Smollett added a corollary a few hundred years later: “Some people are wise, and some are… otherwise!” LOL LikeLiked by 2 people Reply HHahaha LikeLike Reply I only recently discovered Voltaire (partly thanks to learning more about Paris and its Panthéon, where he is entombed, after playing Assassin’s Creed Unity), and my goodness, the guy was such a genius. I don’t know where our collective thinking would be now without Voltaire. The Enlightenment was such a fascinating period in human history, and it influenced many of our founding fathers. Can you see my latest posts in your reader? But if you can’t, can you unfollow me and refollow me on my new site: https://messageinstanza.com/? Some of my followers had to do that, so my latest posts would show up in their reader. I hope you will. 🙂 LikeLike Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
