From the first popular first person shooter, Doom. I paid $5 for Doom shareware in the 1980’s not knowing what it was. It blew me away !! LikeLiked by 2 people Reply Doom paved the way for first person shooters! Am I right? LikeLiked by 1 person Reply Wasn’t BFG Doom 3? I don’t know if BFG stands for anything? LikeLike Reply Wolfenstein came before Doom but was basically crap. It was amazing Doom could run on the slow PC’s back then. BFG has had several meanings, the most popular being Big F’ing Gun.
