I’m done! I’m so proud of myself! How do I look, y’all?!
I sewed the whole thing together! Gosh did that take a while! Now time to put a few buttons on. I found a picture from my favorite TV show and I’m trying to do something like that. Then I went to the store and found the perfect buttons! So here’s my current progress! Almost done 🙂 Tell me what y’all think!
I’ve been sewing and sewing and sewing some more. I never realized how difficult sewing from hand is. But gosh darn it’s time consuming! Anyhoo, here’s another update y’all!
I went to Jo-Anns and got some fabric! All I have to do now is figure out how to sew! I found a video on YouTube that gave me some ideas on how to cut it. So I went ahead and cut it. I really hope that’s the right cut because I can’t put it back together now lol. I think I’m going to try to sew something by hand. Is that crazy? Should I invest in a sewing machine?
So I think I’m going to make a cloak or cape type of thing! Maybe I’ll have a whole costume to go with it but for right now I’m going to just start with one item of clothing. And I like the color red, so get ready for a bright red cloak/cape!
Fabric store here I come! 😀
I think I want to make a Renaissance Fair Costume! Something with a cloak. Any ideas? If I ever make one, I’ll definitely post pictures!
